FAQ

Q. Why should you apply?

A. Unlike programming, AI is something that you cannot teach yourself. Learning AI often requires many years of study and advanced degrees in computer science. That is why according to The New York Times there are only 100,000 qualified AI specialists in the world, and universities are only graduating 100 new candidates each year. Gartner reports, however, that there will be 2.3 million new AI-engineering jobs by 2020.

Q. What does a hot field with high demand for scarce talent mean for you?

A. A sweet paycheck. The average starting annual base pay for an AI job listed on Indeed is $100,000 per year.

Q. What do you need to know?

A. To qualify, you do not need to have any prior background or experience in AI. You only need to have the following:

•     Experience coding in Python, Java, or C++.

•     A solid foundation in computer science, mathematics, and statistics. That’s it. We’ll teach you the rest.

Q. How do you payback for the program?

A. When you join our program, you will incur no upfront costs or debt. Upon graduation, we will help place you in a job as an AI engineer, and you will pay back the cost of the program through a small portion of your future income over a limited number of years.
